This apartment was the perfect thing for this work trip to teach 3 weeks at SMU. Great location just 5 minutes to campus, near several excellent grocery options and a variety of restaurant choices within steps. Plenty of room to work and entertain my colleagues and a very comfortable bed. Parking is secure behind a gate and the elevator requires an app for access after 6 pm which is great for a lady traveling alone. I highly recommend this property!
Calm, quiet area and immaculate rooms. Very secure. The check-in and parking process was a little more convoluted than other hotels, but I just recommend you read through their emails before you get there. The one thing I wish was different was that the elevator assigned to us was out and there was construction on the stairwell entrances. We were able to find someone to point us in the direction of another viable alternative, but we received a text several hours later with the updated information.
I had a great stay at Kasa. If you are looking for a hotel with amenities and staff this is not for you. Instead Kasa Highland Park Dallas has an easy to use virtual front desk and I stayed in a clean and well equipped one bedroom apartment. The check in/out process is easy and done via text, they send you codes for the doors etc. The apartment offered a lot more space than a hotel room does and the building was quiet. This location is close to SMU and there are restaurants and bars nearby.
Great customer service and communication throughout the stay. The room was clean, modern and had pots, pans, silverware as well as plates/bowls to cook during the stay. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance to the complex.
Great experience with Kasa. The units were well stocked. Instructions to get into the building and park were explicit and clear... The only issue was with the building itself. Many of the elevators were not working and my friend who also rented a unit found it difficult to navigate on the first night. However, Kasa support provided additional information through text and everything worked out. Highly recommend!
